Mt. Foolery welcomes community engagement by hosting special free events for all creative pursuits. We present music, childrenโs theater, and vaudeville & circus shows that feature national touring acts and local entertainment for family audiences.
Mt. Foolery provides a tranquil space where creativity and community come together; a gathering place for the curious and those looking for connection with others who share a passion for the performing arts & nature.

Community Artist Gatherings
All events are by invitation and free with donations going to the artists.
Artists come to Mt. Foolery not just to work, but to breathe, wander the trails, watch the river flow, and follow the thread of an ideaโwherever it leads. Residencies are offered through a simple application process, and last anywhere from one to six weeks. Meals are provided, so the day can unfold without distraction.
Sharing the Work
At the conclusion of each residency cycle, the grounds open, and the public is invited to a Sunday gathering to experience what has been created โ concerts, readings, installations, or works still in process. These are not necessarily performances of perfection, but celebrations of process and courage.

Camp Foolery
Imagination flourishes in the magical woods of Mt. Foolery as kids create, explore and collaborate in performance. At Camp Foolery weโll teach you how to find your own clown character, juggle, create group improve scenes, and help design our own variety show and perform it for an audience. We will create our own costumes, set decorations and play lots of theater games!
