The Camp Foolery Experience

Imagination flourishes in the magical woods of Mt. Foolery as kids create, explore, and collaborate in performance.

At Camp Foolery we’ll teach you how to find your own clown character, juggle, create group improve scenes, and help design our own variety show and perform it for an audience. We will create our own costumes, set decorations and play lots of theater games!

Show & share our creations to the group

Pick up between 3:00-3:15 PM

Meet the Staff

Woody Keppel

Woody Keppel has been a frequent player on the European varieté circuit as well as multiple international tours of theaters, festivals, and TV shows, including the CCTV Comedy Festival in Beijing and Europe’s prestigious hit-TV show, “Le Plus Grande Cabaret du Monde” in Paris. He’s stared in four family videos, and played principle and supportive roles in numerous feature films. Woody is the founding artistic director of The Festival of Fools, The Feast of Fools, & Mt. Foolery.

Dana Block

Dana Block has taught Shakespeare and theater arts to all age groups, as well as adult acting classes in Boston, Chicago, NY and Vermont. She has performed multiple original one-woman shows regionally and off-Broadway. Dana studied acting with Michael Howard in NYC and also at The Conservatory @ SUNY Purchase. She holds an M.F.A in Classical Acting from George Washington University and The Shakespeare Theater Company with Michael Kahn.

Rob Crites

Rob Crites is a circus performer with a playful masculinity along with well crafted, through-the-roof skills, and has performed with Cirque du Soleil, toured with Paul McCartney (Euro/Russia), stilt-danced with Jennifer Lopez (American Music Awards), and appeared on Celebrity Circus & Dancing With the Stars. Rob is an actor, known for Water for Elephants (2011), Oz the Great and Powerful (2013) and Fighting Gravity (1998).

Andrea Grayson, EdD, MA

Andrea is a Certified Holistic Health Coach, best selling author, and founder of Create Change Lab, Dr. Grayson works directly with clients to address issues like diet, stress, and mindset. Her coaching emphasizes both physiological and psychological aspects of behavior change, helping people build lasting habits that support vitality and well being. 'I help people unlearn what no longer serves—so they can think, choose, and live from clarity instead of conditioning.” Andrea Grayson brings together science, storytelling, and coaching to help people rethink their relationship with food and health—using communication as a tool for both personal transformation and public good.

Kenny Raskin

Kenny Raskin has been in the physical comedy business for over 45 years, having performed as the lead Clown in Cirque du Soleil, and also as the original Lefou in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. His skill as a teacher of clown and physical comedy is well known, having taught at numerous universities and retreats throughout the United States. Kenny is the artistic director of Hearts and Noses Medical Clown Troupe, bringing joy and humor to hospitals and elder care in the Boston area. He is an accomplished multi-instrumental musician and songwriter, with four albums of original compositions.

Chas Eller

Chas Eller has been in the recording industry for 37 years. During that time he has recorded or produced over 500 LP's and CD's for numerous independent and major record labels, as well as creating music scores for clients such as Columbia Pictures, and Walt Disney. He has received three INDIE Awards for his recording production work on album projects, as well as worked on projects with Doc Watson and Dave Van Ronk which received 1991 and 1993 Grammy nominations respectively. In addition, he has produced several music specials for National Public Radio, including the 1988 Newport Folk Festival.
